The paper contains the remarks and the attitude of its author to the set of new mathematical textbooks for Slovak grammar schools published in 2009 – 2013. Some aspects of textbooks as well as their general concept are discussed and assessed negatively (considerating and respecting their positive qualities). The paper also presents some possible sources that could cause generating of such textbooks and suggests some principles that may contribute avoiding such a kind of situations.
