Since its foundation in 2008, National Institute for Certified Educational Measurements is responsible for implementation of national measurements — providing external part of school leaving examination, testing of 9th grade primary school pupils — Testing 9, and since 2010 it is also responsible for development of testing tools for 5th grade primary school pupils. In this paper the authors deal with the procedures of preparing nationwide measurements in Mathematics and the results acquired in the school year 2015/2016.
