| Abstract | The aim of this contribution is to introduce the probabilistic abacus as a medium
for the motivation of high school students and as an instrument for a simple
calculation of probability. We present a way, how the probabilistic abacus works, we
calculate probability of events and the mean value without using infinite series. |
