The paper is devoted to the analysis of solving three problems from nationwide Slovak testing of mathematics in terms ofpossible used strategies. Each ofthe problems can be solved by a "school" strategy, which students "learn" in mathematics lessons. But how do university students (who should know these strategies) solve them?
