| Abstract | The paper deals with verifying the regularity of a pentagon obtained by A4 paper folding. The combination of paper folding as a manipulative activity and simulation of the folding procedure in the environment of dynamic geometry enables to detect the invariant ratio value of rectangle side lengths. The ratio has provided us with
the possibility to put a model of the regular pentagon together by using the mentioned algorithm. |
