| Abstract | Lindley’s paradox in statistics refers to a situation where the frequentist and the Bayesian approach to testing a particular hypothesis leads to different conclusions. This paradox is a symbol of the
conflict between two different approaches to statistical hypothesis testing. The
article explains the essence of this paradox on a particular example and shows
some possibilities of Bayesian data analysis |
