The recently deceased Professor Beloslav Riečan was a distinguished Slovak scientific personality – a mathematician with a great international reputation. He was a wellknown and influential personality, among other also in musician’s spheres. The paper presents only a small mosaic fragment of memories, reflections and views on Professor Beloslav Riečan from the viewpoint of his pupil, co-worker and friend.
