abstract = {Our article series titled “Physical processes in Nature”, launched in 2014
had covered our goal to provide concrete help to educators with an integrated
approach to natural science education. In the series we gather phenomena and
processes showing the real coupling in physics, biology, chemistry and geography, the
uniform approach to living environment. In the first article of the series we deal with
soil physics, in the second with the physical and chemical characteristics of the oceans
and seas, the third article was devoted to problem of oceans and seas, collecting their
physical properties, their changes and reasons of changes attributed. In this article we
collect the physical characteristics of the lakes and the causes of this characteristic’s
changes.},
