In this paper we present a tradition of Conference of Košice Mathematicians that took place in the village Herľany in the east of Slovakia, known for its unique coldwater geyser. Over twenty years ago, in this enchanting environment, a joint discussion forum for scientists, applied mathematicians and mathematics teachers was created in order to share, seek and find solutions to scientific, didactic and educational problems. The paper is also an informal invitation to the 21st Conference of Košice Mathematicians.
