abstract = {When introducing the concept of hydrostatic buoyant force, several approaches
can be used, eg. theoretical and empirical. In the empirical introduction is
very important to use the right tools to construct desired concept. Our aim is to suggest
appropriate liquids for experimental measurement, which is part of one Physics
textbook (for ISCED 2) activity in order to get sufficiently convincing data.With the
help of collected data and using graphical method of processing, students should discover
that buoyant force is related not only to the volume of the submerged portion of
the small aluminium object but also to the density of liquid.},
